The same can be done using the ALT + X combination either in the settings \u003d\u003e "Processing subtitles" => "Display subtitles". To use the available subtitles, you need to click the right mouse button, select the subtitle submenu, then "Show / Hide Subtitles". In the "Settings" menu, select the "Decoders" tab, and then the required item "Sided video / audio decoder" => "External decoder". KMPlayer implemented support for third-party codecs that you can download on the PC independently on the network. In the General tab, we put a tick in paragraph "Automatically check updates". To do this, press the F2 key and call the control panel. When updating the program, the codecs are automatically updated, the search for the new version occurs every time you turn on in cases if you marked the corresponding item in the settings. However, in exceptional cases, it may be necessary to update it. The main "chip" KMPlayer is the presence of livabcodec library in its size in its size. It is said that the player will open the dialog box and will suggest to download the missing codec. To be honest, it was not possible to force the player to go crayfish before the files proposed by me.
The presented LAV assembly, in contrast to conventional versions, has an advanced set of decoders, splitters and registry settings. Among other things, from other programs for playing audio and video files, KMPlayer has the ability to update the missing codecs, reading unassigned and archived files, creating screenshots, work with 3D, video capture and audio, as well as integrated applications, including games. When installing KMPlayer, it is not necessary to download numerous modules, because, as a rule, for the absolute majority of tasks of enough codecs from the LivAbcodec branded library included directly into the program.
KMPlayer is partly able to solve this problem. The complexity of the selection of suitable codecs for the media player often flashes beginners and not very users from the transition to free programs.
